Science, Technology and Society Relationships

N.12.B.1 - Students know science, technology, and society influence one another in both positive and negative ways.  Able to explain with examples how science and technology benefit each other.  Able to explain with examples how scientific events and technology have both positively and negatively influenced society.  Able to explain with examples how needs of society influence scientific research and technological advances.  Able to explain with examples how advancing technology has  frequently had unintended consequences not initially evident.
