P.12.C.1 - Students know waves (sound, electromagnetic) have energy that can be transferred when the waves interact with matter. Able to identify transverse and longitudinal waves. Able to explain that waves transfer energy without transferring matter. Able to describe how waves behave when they encounter an obstacle, pass into another medium, or another wave.
